Kyle Barthelson is the Vice President of Development at the Center for Renewing America (CRA), where he spearheads the organization’s transformative fundraising strategies to champion America-first policies. With over 15 years of leadership in conservative philanthropy, Kyle has driven exponential growth in the movement by securing transformational investments, cultivating expansive donor networks, and building high-impact development teams.
His experience spans all development verticals giving him a well-rounded perspective on growing mission-driven organizations. Before joining CRA, Kyle spent 13 years at Alliance Defending Freedom where he held senior fundraising positions as Vice President of Direct Marketing and Vice President of Development. In that time, he orchestrated complex, multi-year campaigns, led donor engagement, and delivered speaking engagements. Kyle also helped pioneer the launch of innovative fundraising programs in Austria and England, amplifying ADF’s global reach.
Before joining ADF, Kyle worked for the Colson Center and was privileged to travel with and serve the late Chuck Colson.
A proud Virginia Tech alum, Kyle has lived throughout the United States and now calls Raleigh, NC home. His faith, commitment to service, and love of country have been central to both his personal and professional life. A lover of the outdoors, his favorite pastimes are fly fishing, mountain biking, and golf. By far his most important and rewarding role is as husband to his wife and dad to his three young children.
