Kevin Bishop is a passionate leader and community advocate, recently graduating with a degree in Finance from the University of Toledo in 2024. As President of the College Republicans at UToledo, Kevin fostered political engagement among students, promoted traditional American values, and created opportunities for members to get involved in local and national campaigns. His political journey also includes serving as an intern for the Trump Campaign in 2020, where he assisted with organizing events, recruiting volunteers, and supporting campaign efforts across Northwest Ohio.
In addition to his political involvement, Kevin was appointed by Ohio Governor Mike DeWine to serve as a Student Trustee on the University of Toledo’s Board of Trustees from July 2023 to July 2025. As a trustee, he represented over 14,000 students, contributing to policy decisions that impacted the university’s operations. Kevin played a key role on numerous committees, such as the Student and Academic Affairs committee, Finance and Audit Committee, President Profile Committee, and Presidential Search Committee, offering valuable insights.
Kevin’s experience also includes serving as the Secretary and Senior Analyst for the University of Toledo’s Student Managed Portfolio, where he contributed to managing a $4.6 million investment portfolio. In this capacity, Kevin worked with a team of seven peers to analyze securities, assess company operations, and make informed investment decisions, strengthening his understanding of financial markets and strategic management.
In addition to his academic and professional pursuits, Kevin has always been committed to community service. He served on the Board of Directors for The Victory Center, a nonprofit organization providing support and services to cancer patients and their families. Kevin supported its mission of providing care, resources, and hope. He also dedicated time to coaching youth sports through the Catholic Youth Organization, demonstrating his continued commitment to service and leadership in his community.
