The unchecked proliferation of nationwide injunctions issued by rogue federal judges represents a dire threat to the American constitutional order. It undermines the separation of powers, empowers ideologues at the expense of citizens, and creates policy chaos through deliberate attempts to usurp the authority of both the Legislative and Executive branches.

Whether birthright citizenship is curbed through executive action, statutory reforms, an additional constitutional change, or some combination thereof, it must be addressed because the current flawed interpretation of the policy undermines both the spirit and purpose of citizenship.

The Trump administration has an opportunity to end these destructive “sanctuary city” policies forever simply by enforcing existing statutory provisions and applying them to officials who arrogantly believe they are above the law.

We strongly believe that the inherent constitutional authority of the President of the United States as Commander-in-Chief of the armed forces (and the militia) provides the President with all necessary authority needed to utilize the U.S. military to secure America’s borders from invasion by any person, group, or force.
