Anthony Licata

Legal Fellow

Anthony Licata is a legal fellow of the Center for Renewing America with a particular focus on constitutional and administrative law. He previously served as a law clerk on the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas and in the Office of General Counsel for Florida Governor Ron DeSantis. Anthony has spent multiple stints on Capitol Hill as a Judiciary Committee staffer for Senator Josh Hawley of Missouri and Senator Ted Cruz of Texas. 

In 2023, Anthony earned a J.D. from the George Washington University Law School, where he served as the Executive Vice President of the Federalist Society Chapter and as a competing member of the Moot Court Board. He finished first in his law school class in pro bono legal service and was a finalist in the 7th Annual National Appellate Advocacy Tournament for Religious Freedom. Anthony graduated summa cum laude from the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs at Syracuse University in 2020 with a B.A. in Political Science and Economics.
